McClelland Sculpture Park

Set in 16 hectares of bush and landscaped gardens in Langwarrin, 4kms east of Frankston on the Mornington Peninsula, the McClelland Gallery+Sculpture Park attracts thousands of visitors each year. The Gallery presents an inspiring and engaging range of changing exhibitions and public programs. McClelland’s outdoor sculpture collection showcases over 70 works by prominent Australian sculptors such as Inge King, Lenton Parr, Clement Meadmore, Anthony Pryor and Norma Redpath along with, recent acquisitions including Rick Amor, Peter Corlett, Robert Owen, Lisa Roet and Ken Unsworth.

McClelland’s three indoor exhibition spaces accommodate temporary exhibitions and collection displays of works on paper, photography, painting and sculpture. The establishment of the Elisabeth Murdoch Sculpture Foundation at McClelland in 1989 was the catalyst for the development of a substantial sculpture collection and sculpture park. McClelland Gallery is committed to the development of sculpture in Australia and is the home of the biennial McClelland Sculpture Survey and Award for contemporary outdoor sculpture.
