Entry by donation
Entry to McClelland Sculpture Park+Gallery is by donation. Please show your appreciation at reception and enable us to maintain McClelland’s grounds and collection.
From its inception McClelland was developed with a vision to be a place of inclusion for all to enjoy. Whether you are visiting the Gallery or enjoying the gardens, Shop or Café, your donation is vital to the conservation of our collection, the ongoing delivery of our education and public programs, and the maintenance of our Sculpture Park, enjoyed by over 100,000 people every year!
What to bring
McClelland Sculpture Park+Gallery is set amongst 8 hectares of bushland. We recommend wearing closed-in shoes for comfort and protection, refillable water bottle, rather than a disposable one, is a great way to keep hydrated while you walk around the park.
Hats and sunscreen for the sun and warm waterproof clothing in the cold and rain are recommended. However, extreme weather may require the rescheduling of your visit. Please note the park will be closed on days of extreme fire danger and on days of high fire danger tours may be restricted to certain parts of the park. Tours will not be conducted if the temperature reaches above 32 degrees. In summer, visits in the morning are often more comfortable.
Snakes are occasionally seen on the grounds, and will generally move on if they hear you coming, but if you do see one please leave it alone, retrace your steps and inform a staff member. Bull ants are also found in the park, so please be mindful when sitting on the ground.
