A new series of Sunday Soirée music performances will be held at McClelland featuring professional performers from across Victoria.
To be held in the Sarah & Baillieu Myer Education Pavilion at McClelland, the Sunday Soirées will be a great way to enjoy an afternoon where art and music will come together with a selection of house made food and locally produced wines.
Sunday 7 November
Michelle Nicolle Quartet
Vocalist Michelle Nicolle may be an old hand at bringing jazz music to life on the stage – but her voice is as fresh as ever. So is her inexhaustible love for what she does. Michelle has toured with her quartet for over two decades all over Australia and the world, performing on stages and in festivals from Tokyo to Siberia, and together they seamlessly cross the borders of genre and style to make their own unique brand of music.
Sunday 5 December
The Stiletto Sisters have been wooing audiences for over a decade with their seductive blend of Hungarian folk, tango and love songs from around the world. Led with breathtaking virtuosity by Hungarian trained violinist Hope Csutoros, the trio features the dynamic piano accordion playing of Judy Gunson and the wonderful talents of Jo To on double bass. Stiletto Sisters perform with extraordinary emotional range from extreme delicacy to blazing intensity and more than a touch of humour.
The McClelland Sunday Soirée music series is a wonderful combination of music and art and has been made possible by the generous support of McClelland’s Patron Baillieu Myer AC and Igor and Jenny Zambelli as well as our new association with hospitality partner Homes and Acreage.
